This element of the Graphisoft Park building complex is located next to the entrance building, the once called “locomotive shed”, in the south-west corner of the area. The little building hosts Graphisoft R&D’s technology and storage rooms. It is composed of a high-ceilingrectangular-block-shaped storage, a glass-covered cylinder-slice-shaped office wing and a sphere-section-shaped green hill.
The necessary walls and ceilings, whose panels do not toucheach other, complement this and create a building. Creating this clean, almost principle-like structure was a rare possibility to construct a building where the principles and the functionwill not contradict each other. The building was demolished in 2016, after the scaletransformation of the park, and our new building was constructed in 2018, the SAP building.
