In close collaboration with the city of Lipetsk we examined the environment of one of thesignificant development areas. ‘Lipetskaya Crystals’ concerns an important junction and itsentire surroundings and outlines the city’s development potentials of the approximately500,000 capita industrial city. We were invited for the design, first in the form of a tender plan, by the institution in charge of the city’s investment. The program included a shopping center, a cinema and a memorial park and also a high-rise building with offices and residentialunits. The completed concept received positive response but was not subject to commission.
