Rákosrendező – Another Joint Competition Proposal with BIG
Taking part in the public design competition for the Rákosrendező masterplan, we had the opportunity to work for the second time with one of the world’s most exciting international practices, Bjarke Ingels Group.
For us, the collaboration meant an intensive three-month process of shared thinking and design. During the joint work, we not only gained insight into the design processes of an office operating on an international scale, but were also able to actively contribute to shaping the competition proposal.
Although the jury ultimately chose a different direction, we clearly regard this period as a success. We became familiar with an approach and working methods that will have a lasting influence on our own design practice.
