Klapka House Description

District XIII city council asked for an architectural design suggestion in the frame of a parallel closed design competition. According to the program, on the ground floor there are retail units, on the upper levels there are offices and apartments. In our plan, in order to keep the calm, square-like character of Pattantyús Street, we designed an elevated level, accessible by a ramp. The lower level can be accessed from the street and mainly contains shops; the upper levels contain predominantly service units and a larger green surface. From here would open the offices and residential units. These would be four-storey blocks and their size and rhythm follow the terrains specifics.
The plan did not get selected.
